Tuscany and Pompeii

The end of August is the time when the wheat is harvested and the preparation for grape picking is just a few weeks ahead. The hot weather dried the stem of wheat and the hills all over Tuscany is coloured with golden yellow. However, vineries around Montepulciano are still in deep green. Looking around from top of the hills there are a lot of farms with its typical Tuscan building but also you may find scenes of nice valleys. When I saw the harvested wheat field next to the green vinery full of life I took the picture. The hot sunshine gives interesting shadow pattern between the rows of grape.
